The roof top mechanism of the new Holden Astra TwinTop

The developers were in agreement about the Holden Astra Twin Top: Function must be harmonized with design � and, at the same time offer maximum passenger and luggage space. The solution: three roof components, which fold together in a space-saving way in the luggage compartment with the aid of five electric motors, eight hydraulic cylinders and 14 joints. This technology ensures that the roof opens and closes safely and securely within less than 30 seconds.

As a coupe the Astra TwinTop offers a luggage compartment of 440L, as a cabrio with the roof open 205L(best in class).
